It’s that time! As many know I had a very scary medical emergency 2 weeks ago that landed me in the hospital for several days. Spent the week after on bedrest and was given permission to go back to work lightly this week. After this week, I have decided that for my own health and baby’s, next week will be my last week behind the chair until after sweet baby Kennedi arrives! The days are getting harder on my body, that’s already struggling to keep my princess cooking. I will not be booking any new appointments.
With that being said, if you already have an appointment with me in the next 2 weeks, I will be reaching out tomorrow to move you up to this next week if you are able. Any appointments after I will reach out to cancel.

Please remember there are only 2 other stylists in the salon with me, both who are very busy and have full books themselves. We are doing our best to accommodate everyone, patience and flexibility are key! We are all independent stylists at Salon Indigo, and they are doing me a huge favor by helping me out to the best of their ability at this time!

I appreciate all the calls, texts and prayers during this time! And I cannot wait to share our little princess with everyone when she arrives! I cannot say this enough, I have the BEST clientele in Bham, and I am so thankful for each and every one of you! 🫶🏼🩷

Well, my BP meds seem to be doing the trick! She is keeping me on “modified bedrest” and allowing me to work a few hours a day from my stool! I will NOT be booking any new appointments, and will be moving my schedule around to accommodate my assistant! I will be reaching out to all upcoming clients and ones who I missed over the past week and a half today!

Just a little 24 hour update! I was able to rest last night. Yesterday was a NIGHTMARE! They couldn’t get my BP under control, it went from stroke level to bottoming out in a matter of a bathroom trip (I never want to feel like that again)
Baby Kennedi is doing so well! Her heart rate is normal, she’s living her best life in there! No baby issues at all, just mommy’s body trying to keep her in!
I have my second steroid dose for her lungs today, hopefully I never have to have magnesium again IN MY LIFE (that was awful, but necessary to protect her brain if she were to come early)
Dr. Campbell MAY let me go home on bed rest since I live 15 min away, but that will not be determined until Thursday or Friday.

I have tons of texts and messages to respond to! I promise I will do that today because I am feeling much better! Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers! ❤️❤️❤️

I hate this, but unfortunately in the world we live in today, this is the best way to update everyone…The past 7 months have been a ride, and unless you are in my inner circle or close family, even only clients and hockey family know, we are expecting a beautiful baby girl March 17th. At 2:35AM I woke up to extreme blood loss and sheer panic at 30 weeks. Rushed to the hospital and I have confirmed Placenta Praevia. They have admitted me, started giving me steroids for her lungs, and it doesn’t look like I’ll be going home anytime soon before her arrival. She’s just as wiggly as ever, and her heart rate is strong! Please keep sweet Kennedi and I in your thoughts and prayers. Pray that I can keep her cooking for just a little while longer, and there are no further complications!

This mama heart is broken, hockey season isn’t over, and we still have so much to do before her arrival. But as long as she is healthy and safe that’s all we are worried about! 🩷

Clients - I will be reaching out soon to cancel or reschedule clients with my awesome ladies at the salon with me! Please do not worry! And I will not be booking anything until further notice! I appreciate all your love and support, and as always thank you to everyone who has messaged, texted or called today to send their thoughts and prayers! I am so lucky to have the most amazing clientele! 🫶🏼❤️

A few changes as the new year begins! I love and appreciate all of my clients, and in order to better serve you all I’m asking everyone to either book your next appointment as you are leaving the salon or book using the app! Texts and calls can be overwhelming at times, I do have a family at home and I would like to leave work at the salon to focus on them when I am not working. I understand things happen and will still have my phone for clients to reach me, but I will not be booking appointments via text anymore. Thank you for understanding and being the most amazing, loyal clientele! I’m ready for another year of fun behind the chair!
