One way we test whether you’re a cool or warm undertone at KHS is with the metal test.

Gold = Warm Undertone
Silver = Cool Undertone

We determined with this test that she’s warm.

That narrows her seasons down to Spring or Autumn.

For over a decade, KHS has supported therapeutic riding for kiddos with disabilities in our local community.

It started with donating my horse’s time to the University of Mary for physical therapy students to learn what equine therapy can do for kids with disabilities.

Bart was the horse. Ben was the rider.

We had to put Bart down, but by the grace of God, Katie Oakland had just opened TR 4 heart And Soul - a therapeutic riding center with multiple horses serving our community.

Ben went to ride with Katie, and we sponsor his riding every year.

KHS will continue to sponsor kids with disabilities in our community to ride at TR 4 Heart & Soul.

You just have to be there to experience the magic 🪄

Our girl Addison Pringle has done such an amazing job all week in Florida representing the state of North Dakota at the Miss America’s Teen pageant ❤️

KHS has had the honor of discovering her season beforehand so she could step on stage at her best in color.

Miss America’s Teen Miss North Dakota’s Teen Miss America

We do a lot of fun things as a salon team.

But, by far, my favorite is our yearly retreat to visit our friend Little White Farm Candle Co

Dana makes the candles, perfumes, lotions, household cleaners and sprays that are in the storefront at KHS.

This year we did floral arranging, made our own custom perfume, had lunch at the local cafe and toured an old church on the historical registry.

But, more than anything else, we experienced peace, tranquillity, relaxation and a recharge that only Dana and the wide open skies can provide 🫶

Thank you Dana for the experience. You are such a blessing ❤️

It’s pageant week and our girl Addison Pringle has landed in Florida!

Addison is representing the state of North Dakota in the Miss Teen pageant.

ND show her all the love in the comments 📣

KHS discovered her season to help her get pageant ready with color.

We used those results to formulate and customize her hair color. The analysis will also help her choose makeup and clothing colors.
