This client came in with dark hair wanting to get back to her natural.

She had colored her hair dark brown for several years.

Before she came to KHS, she had color stripping treatments and all-over bleach and then was toned making her look even darker than when she came in.

Having this information, Addysen Geerdes knew she probably had fragile hair under the dark and that her hair liked to suck up color and get darker than desired.

With having a wedding this weekend, Addysen opted for the gentlest, least expensive and most guaranteed satisfactory outcome: a partial highlight to break up the dark.

And the client couldn’t have been more happy and wedding ready.

Curl creams are a great styling aid to enhance curls without making them crunchy.

A curl cream will have hold, but it’s a softer hold than a gel.
