This client came in with an inspo pic and Kyrah nailed it!

Kyrah first applied a dark root and then lifted the ends with the balayage technique. She then applied an all-over copper-red and finished with a trim.

Curly hair is prone to dryness and needs moisture.

The biggest reason curly hair is drier than other hair types is that it’s harder for the natural oils from the scalp to move down the curly hair strand. Oils from the scalp can move much easier down straighter hair types providing moisture and shine to the hair.

Curly girls (and guys) need to add moisture to their hair since they’re not getting it from their scalp.

Moisture treatments, spray leave-ins and cream based products are great for curly hair types.

When curly hair is provided with the right amount of moisture the curls will be springy, have shine and be less frizzy.
