Our vendors and staff have recovered from the overwhelmingly successful opening day, so we're ready to get the party started again this Saturday! 🎉😅

Come down to Kiwanis Park at 9:00am with your yoga mat so you can take part in the FREE class that Transitions Yoga offers! Drop some spare change into one of their three donation jars that will help Ministry On The Margins, Furry Friends Rockin' Rescue, or North Dakota Human Rights Coalition.

If yoga really isn't your thing, that's okay! Solidcore will be at BisMarket, offering a beginner's class at 10:30am! This will be a 30 minute, high intensity, low-impact workout to work your core and lower body! No need to sign up, but they do recommend downloading the Solidcore app and creating an account!

After you zen out or work out (or both if you're really ambitious!), hang around, shop, eat, and enjoy our live music! Brian Gray will start his tunes at 10:00am and Wayde Schafer will start at 11:45am! 🎶🎵🎤🎸

🎨 THEO Art School is back with us this season, too! You will find them in the shelter area, where you can create your very own Summer banner using acrylic markers! Their face painters will be there, too, so your kiddos can get some snazzy designs painted on them! And honestly, we won't judge any adults that also want one. There's a kid in all of us, right?!😁

Last, but definitely not least, The American Farm Bureau Federations & ND Farm Bureau will be having an "Ask a Farmer" event. This group consists of several farmers from across the country, representing different sectors of agriculture in different geographic areas; not only will they be available to share information about all the amazing, hard work that farmers put in, they are ready to answer any questions people have about farming. We're so excited that they are doing their pop-up at BisMarket!

Whew! That's a lot of fun packed into our second week!

WOW. Just…WOW!!! There really is no other word to describe our opening day!
Wait, yes there is: Successful!!Busy!! Fun!! Chaotic!! And hot. It was definitely hot outside! 🥵

Our BisMarket team was kept so busy that we didn’t get a lot of pictures like we had hoped, so if you have any, please share them in the comments!

🫶🏼On a personal note, I want to give a very loud shout out to our vendors, our board members, and our new staff members…BisMarket has become a community event because of all the hard work each of you put in.
The ones who deserve the loudest shout out, though, are the people who attend BisMarket. Whether it’s weekly, monthly, or once a year that you are able to swing by, this event cannot happen without all of the love and support that you give to these local businesses.
Thank you for being there to watch our organization grow and succeed and sometimes stumble a little. 😅

EDIT: Because so many people are asking the same two questions…BisMarket takes place every Saturday from 10:00am-1:00pm, through October 17 (no market on July 4). It is located on W Sweet Ave, between Kiwanis Park and the Larks Stadium.

At 10:00am, our fabulous vendors will be ready to roll out their amazing goods, and Tom O'Neill will be strumming his guitar and singing your favorite tunes! 🎶 Then, get ready to groove with Sweet Liver, a family trio that's sure to blow your mind, at 11:45am! 🎸 In between the music, Northern Plains Dance will put on a shindig for everyone's enjoyment! 💃

Once again this year, qualifying vendors accept SNAP payments, and we will give all SNAP customers up to $15 in Beet Bucks per market. Not sure what this is all about? Stop at the BisMarket booth and we'll tell you all about it!

Even if you don't use SNAP, swing by the BisMarket booth to check out our new t-shirts! We also swag bags with vintage merchandise for a GREAT price.

Meet Me in Down Dog at Kiwanis Park!!

👏🎉We are so excited to have Transitions Yoga bring the morning zen to BisMarket again! This is their 8th year with us, and we want to make sure everyone is aware of this amazing and fun opportunity!

Transitions Yoga will be offering FREE community yoga classes at Kiwanis Park every Saturday, beginning at 9:00am, from June through August, weather permitting.
These all-level classes are part of Transitions Yoga's continued commitment to making yoga accessible while supporting local connection through BisMarket and the wonderful vendors that make the market possible.

Each class is donation-based and supports one of three incredible local organizations:
– Ministry on the Margins
– Furry Friends Rockin’ Rescue
– North Dakota Human Rights Coalition

That's not all!! It gets better!! 🤗 Transitions is excited to continue their First Saturday (each month) Coffee Collaboration with Balancing Goat Coffee Co. They generously provide free coffee after yoga so participants can enjoy a warm-up and wind-down experience with their amazing brew.

Yoga participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and stay after class to enjoy the market, local shopping, and the vibrant community atmosphere of BisMarket!

Classes are open to all levels, and while registration is not required, anyone who signs up in advance through the Transitions Yoga website will be entered into a drawing for a 10-class credit giveaway! Head over to www.transitions-yoga.com and check it out!

🚨🚨Applications for Kids Markets will be available on Saturday, May 30 at 9:00am!🚨🚨

Here's the lowdown:
-There will be three Kids Markets this season: June 27th, July 18, August 8
-There will be a cap of 15 kid vendors spaces for each market.
-Each kid vendor gets to attend ONE market date, so start brainstorming with your young entrepreneurs on when they want to shine.
-Applications are processed in the order they are received; keep in mind we get a very high volume of kids applying and unfortunately do have to turn some of them away due to our limit of 15 per event.
-Once a date is full, we CANNOT add anymore kids to that market! The earlier your kiddo applies, the better their chances are to get the date of their choice.
-There will be an option on whether or not you would attend a different Kids Market if your primary choice is no longer available; however, this does not guarantee a spot!
-Kids do not have to pay a vendor fee.
-Current BisMarket vendors are welcome to share their booth space with their kids (this does not count towards the 15).

Applications will be taken through June 23 or until we are full, whichever happens first.

In fact, they won't be ready until closer to June. May is a crazy month for our team, and while we know the entire market season is important, there is soooo much to finalize and have ready by opening day.

We do know this much:
-There will be a cap of 15 kid vendors spaces for each market.
