The shop will be closed Wednesday Sept 6th, as the Oak will be traveling to Whitesheild.

Being a barber is about taking care of the people. He works with people of all ages, races and hair textures but once you face them towards the mirror their smile says everything they couldn't. He's a barber but really a healer! There are mother's who trust him with their children even if they don't sit still. It requires a whole lot of patience. It's amazing what his hair cuts can do for someone, we carry everything in our hair so he's cutting out the stress.
He works long days and so hard but he won't say. It's OK for him to have a wellness day... he actually needs about a week off. Please forgive the miscommunication and not reaching out to clients.. He has not had a vacation since he opened his shop. I've watched him from
cutting in basements, cutting in my moms hallway to under tents on hot days. He runs a business that he loves everyday. But it's ok to be exhausted.

Being a barbers wife is watching
him come home exhausted, being on his feet 12 hours a day, being late to a gathering because of his schedule or last appointment, understanding he just wants to rest even if we didn't see him all day Being a barber's wife is making sure he eats, taking him food and most of the time eating it cold because he always puts his clients before him! His time is precious and sometimes it's hard because he's gone all day but his sacrifice is for our family and everything we need! Counting the time so I can hug him when he gets home knowing I'll get full of hair too I'm so proud of all the work he does and how far he's come in life...I've watched him grow to amazing father and husband! I take so much pride in not just being a barber's wife but being your Wife!
