• Autumn Hair Moodboard •
Colors found beneath the canopy where copper emulates ember leaves, blonde cascades in shades of flax, brunettes mimic earthen soil, and light falls in ribbons, dappling through braided brambles.
There is something ancient and ritualistic about having your hair tended to. A bit of time carved out to be cared for, adorned, renewed. Color woven through like dappled light, roots tended, ends refreshed, everything brought back into harmony. An hour or two (or three...) away from the noise of the world, emerging a little more luminous, a little more yourself ✨️
We're booking up for the remainder of the year. Our booking form can be found at the link in our bio. As always, feel free to call or text us with questions & inquiries at 856-563-6634 🫶

Kinroot School of Herbalism Level 2 began yesterday and I'm overjoyed with the energy and dedication my aspiring herbalists brought to their first session. I'm fascinated with their drive to learn more and desire to go deeper with their relationship with plants. Its such a joy to bring together folks from my various level 1 cohorts to form this "super group" of herbal learners!
Yesterday we reviewed a bit of our level 1 material & dove into observations & assessment... how to really think like an herbalist! I introduced our 10 herbs we will be deeply working with over the next 7 months and our textbook "Body Into Balance" By . After our break, we got to practice a bit with fictional profiles & teamed up for some assessment activities.
I'm SO inspired by the remarkable line of thinking these herbalism students and the unique lenses from which they view people & plants. I'm elated to see their growth over the next half year and can already feel how much I will be learning from them.
*Level 1 enrollment will be opening soon for January-May 2027 cohort. If you are interested, please send a dm or comment to get on my list of those to be notified. It will sell out quickly as I already have about half the spaces spoken for

Last night's Autumn Equinox gathering was so, so lovely. We explored the equinox through the lens of ecology and inner landscape, journeyed through an autumnal realm, visited a holy well, ancient trees, entangled grapevines, and communed with the garden oracle.
Our butterfly pea flower tea ceremony harmonized our energies and connected us with our intuition and spirit. Together we wrote out reflections, intentions, and shared our evening's experiences with one another.
These gatherings are so special. I'm deeply honored to host & guide such incredible groups of local folks so willing to trust and open themselves up to these experiences ✨️🤍🫶
I will be sharing this information as an online mini course in the coming week, so keep an eye out if you are interested in learning more about this work ✨️
Mysterious Ginger 🔮✨️ Welcome Autumn 🍂

Autumn Equinox is a portal. A time of transition and shapeshifting, shedding our summer skin, rooting down into the earth, harvesting what we've planted this year, and peering behind the veil.
A time to reach out beyond the edges of reality to rediscover and experience the truth of our lives and the roles we want to play in them as the seasons turn.
If you feel called to co-create your becoming, we have two divine opportunities to immerse yourself into the magic of the season with us:
✨️ 9/23 at 6:30pm Autumn Equinox Tea Ceremony & Meditation with Kellie D'Ascenzo
A quiet evening of tea, guided meditation, soul nourishment, and reflection. Shed what needs releasing and connect with your truest self beneath it all, invite in peace and clarity for your next season of life. Butterfly Pea Flower tea is a beautiful plant ally useful for soothing our nervous system and attuning to our intuition.
(two spaces remaining)
✨️9/27 at 6:30pm Sound Healing with Angela Fields
The Harvest Moon invites us to pause and recognize all that we’ve grown, experienced, and accomplished throughout the season. During this immersive sound bath, you’ll be gently guided through a meditation to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and reflect on what you’d like to carry into the season ahead. Angela incorporates a variety of sound instruments into her healing sessions, including Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, tuning forks, gongs, and other sacred instruments.
Comment "equinox" and we will DM you with more info 🤍✨️

Sound on 🔔
Pause here. Breathe in. Breathe out.
Let the music move through you. Cleanse what you've been carrying today, this week, this month. As the frequencies vibrate through you, notice what you're holding that no longer serves you. Make space for new energies arriving. Gifts expanding, blessings making their way to the surface. Take note of what comes up.
Maybe save this post to pull up when you have a moment for yourself.
And if you enjoy this type of work, meet us in the collective September 27th with Angela Fields for a beautiful sound healing meditation and journaling experience 🤍✨️
Comment "breath" below and we'll DM you a link to sign up 🫶

We're growing our stylist team at Mystic Ginger and looking for experienced stylists who want to do beautiful work, continue growing their craft, & be part of a salon where they're supported.
We're an established independent salon in South Jersey with a loyal clientele, a strong local presence, and a team-centered culture. We believe talented stylists deserve the freedom to develop their own careers without having to do every part of running a business alone.
✨️ WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR ✨️
We're especially interested in connecting with licensed NJ stylists with 4+ years behind the chair, some established client relationships & an interest in continuing to grow.
But more than a number of years or solid book of clients, we're looking for someone who's talented, dependable, kind, curious about their craft & ready for their next chapter.
You don't have to be actively job hunting to talk to us!
If you've been wondering what it might feel like to work somewhere different, we'd be happy to quietly show you around, introduce you to the team & talk about what you're looking for next.
No awkward commitment. No expectation.
Just a conversation 🫶

Butterfly pea (Clitoria ternatea) is a vibrant blue flower with a long history of use in Ayurveda and across many cultures. Full of anthocyanins and other antioxidant compounds, it has traditionally been used as a nervine and nootropic to support mood, memory, cognitive function, and the nervous system. Its cooling, slightly sweet flowers are also used in teas, foods, and natural dyes. When citrus is added, their brilliant blue shifts to violet as the pH changes, making butterfly pea a beautiful symbol of transformation and change.
Claim this vision 💙
Let butterfly pea be a reminder that it isn't always necessary to transform into something new, perhaps it may be revealed that another version of what exists already contains a blueprint for renewal.
Screenshot this collage for your background, save it for the season ahead, or send it to someone stepping into a new chapter.
Join us September 23rd at 6:30pm to invoke the spirit of butterfly pea flower in a sacred tea ceremony and meditation guided by herbalist Kellie D'Ascenzo with flowers brought back from the sacred lands of Costa Rica
