To my brother,
First time we ever worked out together we did squats at Atilis. Remember Saturday mornings was the powerlifting team squat day? Yall threw 315 on the bar for me and I looked around the room like “who tf doing that?”
Needless to say, you spotted me and pushed me to squat 315 for 5 sets of 5. Something that always stuck out to me though was at one point during my set I looked down at the floor and you smacked my chest and said “look up it’s nothing down there for you.” I don’t know why that stuck with me so much but it taught me not to focus on what’s below me but look at what’s on top of me. Never look behind me, focus on what’s in front of me. Focus on the future and move on from the past.. you know I always say to you “It already happened and it’s no changing that so it’s time to move on”. You put on a show yesterday brother and I’m proud of you. You had a hell of a run and you went out with a bang and I hope you proud of yourself. Wherever the wind blows you next just know I’m rocking with you til the wheels fall off…
