I’ve been back in the lab working on something I’ve wanted to get right for a while — a brand-new Okie Glow Tallow Deodorant.

And I think this one is gonna be freaking awesome.

Here’s the deal: this is NOT an antiperspirant.

You need to sweat. Whether it’s a hard workout, a long day at work, Oklahoma heat, or stress having your brain running 47 tabs at once. 😂

I’m not trying to stop my body from doing what it was designed to do.

I SWEAT. I JUST DON’T STINK — AND I CARE WHAT I PUT ON MY BODY.

So I built this one with tallow infused with chamomile & lavender, jojoba oil, arrowroot, non-nano zinc oxide, magnesium hydroxide, persimmon leaf and pomegranate peel.

Baking soda free. Aluminum antiperspirant free. Made for men and women. Made for workouts, workdays, stress sweat and real life.

The goal is simple: help control odor while still letting you sweat.

And while I’ve been creating new things and working on myself, this Scripture has been sitting heavy on my heart:

It’s light. Crisp. Clean.
A little citrus. A little floral. And there’s something about it that reminds me of that fresh air right after the rain.

Not heavy. Not overpowering. Just that clean, feminine scent that makes somebody lean in a little closer and say, “Okay… what are you wearing?”

I’m keeping the name quiet for now. 🤫

This one started over coffee on my patio with Sean.

He asked what I was working on, and I told him I’d made a simple tallow & beeswax butter I’d been using on my Blackstone, butcher blocks, leather boots, knives and gear.

Sean looked at me and said, “Well heck… call it Dude Butter.” 😂

And just like that, a product got a name.

🐝 Beeswax from a local honey-bee farm

TWO INGREDIENTS. THAT’S IT.

Corey & Zoey have actually put it to work on Blackstones/griddles, butcher blocks, smooth leather boots & belts, knives and gear.

Then David and Justin got involved in the conversation…

Apparently this stuff has multiple… multiple uses. 😏

Want a way more broad list of possible uses? Ask my expert panel: Sean, David & Justin. They have WAY more ideas. I’m just not entirely sure all of them are legally allowed in Oklahoma. 😂

For everybody else, we’ll stick with the respectable uses at the market.

🌧️ SATURDAY AT THE BLANCHARD FARMERS MARKET 🌧️

There’s something about Oklahoma right before it rains.

The wind changes. The temperature drops. The trees start moving, and you can smell that rain coming across the red dirt before a single drop hits the ground.

Sometimes the simplest things are a pretty good reminder to slow down and appreciate what God created.

That feeling is what inspired my newest Okie Glow scent:

RAIN ON RED DIRT

No fruity, flower, foo-foo this time. 😂

Just a light, fresh, clean outdoor scent built around cedarwood, sandalwood, pine, vetiver and frankincense.

The handmade soap gets that beautiful red-and-black look from red dirt clay and activated charcoal, and every bar comes out a little different.

Just like Oklahoma.

I’ll have Rain on Red Dirt Soap & Tallow at the market along with my other Okie Glow products.

And a little heads-up — Happy Hiney and Sky-Kissed Petal are getting LOW. If those are your favorites, you might want to catch me early.
