Our sweet Sophia is walking for su***de prevention today, & we wanted to take a minute to tell her just how loved she is here at Shiny Bison.

Sophia is genuinely one of the sweetest humans. She is kind, caring, funny, hardworking, & has such a soft heart for the people around her. She has brought so much light into our little store, & getting to watch her grow into herself has been such a gift.

There are people who come into your life & very quickly become more than just an employee or coworker. Sophia is absolutely one of those people. She is part of our Shiny Bison family, & we are ridiculously proud of her.

I wish so badly that I could be there walking alongside her today, but I’m holding down the store & cheering her on from Shiny Bison instead. So if you stop in today and hear me bragging about our girl, now you know why 🥹

Shiny Bison is looking for another part-time team member to join us!

This is a customer-facing, hands-on role in our McKinley Mall store. You’ll help guests pick out jewelry and charms, create permanent jewelry, help with our other in-store experiences, keep things looking cute & organized, & most importantly, make everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome and excited to be here.

No permanent jewelry experience is necessary. We’ll train you! We’re much more interested in finding someone who is friendly, dependable, comfortable talking to people, and genuinely enjoys creating a fun experience for customers.

**Must be available Thursdays & Fridays from approximately 1:30–6 PM.** Additional shifts and event opportunities may be available as needed.

If you love jewelry, creativity, books, fun little trinkets, and chatting with people all day, you’ll probably fit right in around here 🫶🏻

Introducing Shiny Bison After Hours 🌙

Once a month, we’re keeping the doors open a little later & giving you an excuse to get out of the house, do something fun, & experience Shiny Bison with a whole new vibe. Each After Hours will have its own theme, special touches, & reasons to come hang out with us.

& we’re kicking things off with WEAR THE DAMN OUTFIT.

You know the one. The dress that’s “too fancy.” The ridiculous shoes. The sequins. The outfit you bought because you loved it & then realized you have absolutely nowhere to wear it.

This is the excuse.

Wear whatever makes you feel incredible, whether that means a ball gown, a killer jumpsuit, something covered in rhinestones, or just an outfit you’ve been dying to take out of the closet.

I’m looking for people who are:

- detail-oriented
- comfortable talking to strangers
- able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- availability on some Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays

This role would include a mix of:
- client-facing shifts
- some pop ups + events
- assisting with content/social media
- helping support some exciting upcoming growth within the business

No permanent jewelry experience required — I teach the technical side! All training and materials provided. I care far more about personality, professionalism, work ethic, and creating a great client experience.
