I always have fun when my wavy clients come in. Like most curls they are misunderstood. Or often said to not be a curl because the pattern isn’t strong. Nevertheless, wavy hair is apart of the curly hair diaspora. If the hair bends it’s not naturally straight.

Hello everyone, my name is Lady Bug, I am nine months old, and my mom is Deserae. Today we are asking for help regarding my most recent diagnosis. My doctor informed us that I have patent ductus arteriosus (PDA). This means that I was born with a congenital heart defect. This defect causes one side of my heart to swell while the other side is left small with a lack of blood flow to support it. If this is left untreated, the likelihood of living a full and colorful life is slim. In order to fix my little heart, we have to go through a surgery. This procedure is called an Amplatz Canine Duct Occluder (ACDO).
This is a minimally invasive catheter surgery, but it costs a boatload. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $5,000.00 to help with the surgery itself. The price does not include post-op care or any other exams I may need. We are just asking for the minimum. Mom and I would be forever grateful for whatever anyone can give. Even a little makes a difference for me and my heart.
