little life update! - I am still pregnant 🙃 for all those texting me!! LOL baby is healthy! That’s what matters! Due date is in 4 days. Hoping we get this little one out in the week or so!
Now back to business 👉🏼

I am still debating my best options for (potentially) scheduling in DC while also growing my career here in Bloomington for when baby comes. I KNOW you all are hoping for visits from me down at my Dalton City location! And I genuinely would love to make that happen.
Nothing is set in stone - as we have at least 3 family vacations planned this summer, our son is in 2 sports, & we do not have hired help with our kiddos where we live. BUT I MISS YOU GIRLS and I just wanted to let you know, you clients are always sitting in my brain on how I can show up the best for you. My hopes are that you continue to follow my social medias, watch your cells for incoming texts, and just know I’m always working behind the scenes in how I can best serve you🫶🏼 Hoping I know more coming up in April - May!!

Leaning into these last few weeks of pregnancy hasn’t felt very peaceful for me.

I find myself sitting around most days, the list of “to-dos” in my head is daunting with all of the things I want to accomplish… contemplating which task to get done… but feeling so tired, so mentally drained, that I can’t think clearly enough where to start.

This shift in my mentality has been hard to navigate. This season has stretched me in ways I didn’t expect.

Not because I don’t care about my business.
Not because I’ve lost passion.
But because I’m almost 37 weeks pregnant…

I’m used to being disciplined.
I’m used to executing quickly.
I’m used to generating income & building things fast.

And this pregnancy has slowed me down.

Mentally.
Physically.
Emotionally.

The early stages of pregnancy, there were days where I felt incredibly motivated and clear… and lately I’ve questioned everything. My capacity doesn’t look like it used to. I’ve realized that’s been hard for someone whose identity has always been tied to productivity, independence, and follow-through.

Going from producing at a high level to feeling like I can barely move some days has made me wrestle with thoughts of failure — even though I KNOW logically this is just a season.

At the same time, I’m expanding.

I’m becoming a mother again.
I’m rebuilding what my work looks like. What it means for me as a mother & business owner.
I’m trying to redefine my success in a season where constantly creating something isn’t the only measure of growth.

There’s something deeply humbling about realizing that you can’t push your way through every season. Some seasons require strength. Others require surrender.

Some seasons are for building businesses.
Some are for building babies.
And some are for rebuilding yourself❤️‍🩹
