It’s also my time to figure out what your hair likes, doesn’t like, needs more of, less of. It’s a way to see if you need extensions, or maybe a hair cut with more shape and layering to get the result you’re after.

It’s kinda like how restaurants place automatic 20% gratuity on parties greater than (insert double digit number here) except I would never force gratuity (we don’t do that here) and just want you to understand having a larger wedding party = requires bigger needs/budget/space/accomodatioms for your wedding morning hair sesh.

I wish the styles I post on my feed only took 20 minutes (they take anywhere from 45-90). And I wish we could raw dog the schedule and not put any buffer time in, but I promise someone will go missing when it’s their turn for hair, makeup might run behind, someone ran out for coffee, or the anxiety 💩 kicks in right as I’m starting to curl your hair. Time is everything, and even more important with a larger party.

As much as I wish I could do 10 hair styles solo in 4 hours (actually tbh no I do not 😭) I am a human first, and a machine never. You deserve the quality you hired me for, the smallest amount of stress possible at the start of your wedding day, and that all starts with accomodating appropriately for the size of your wedding party. xoxo

Quality, long lasting wedding hair styles are NOT fast. They take time to detail out, remove frizz, create longevity, detail and everything else in between.

I’ll always let you know that you need to set aside 90 minutes minimum in your timeline for your hair on your wedding morning, no exceptions. I’ll never everrrr rush or compromise bride or marrier’s hair on their wedding day, period.

This is just my opinion babes, it’s not facts. But not enough people are talking about this. 💌

I think it’s important to give more insight on how your veil and wedding hair style have to live together harmoniously. And sometimes, that harmony isn’t always possible.

At the end of the day, we can always make it work! It just might look like a different type of veil placement, using different tools to secure it, and potentially a lil veil surgery to remove the comb if it’s going to disrupt the hair style too much (with your permission of course!!)
