So, after many trials, I have come to the realization that there is really no substitute for making your own skin serum. And it's so EASY! And this recipe works for almost all skin types:

1/3 Olive Squalane
1/3 Argan Oil
1/3 Apricot Kernel Oil
Essential oils of Frankincense, Jasmine and Helichrysum

I prefer to get the refined Argan oil because the unrefined has a pretty strong odor, but both work fine. You can substitute Almond oil for the AKO. I like the sweet scent of organic unrefined AKO myself.

For the essential oils, first make sure they are genuine EOs and not fragrance oils. If the Jasmine isn't super expensive, it's probably super diluted OR a fragrance oil. I like the Jasmine on LibertyNatural.com. I don't have the exact recipe in front of me, but just play around with it a bit. Do not exceed 1%. The Helichrysum is not a particularly pleasant scent, so go very lightly -- maybe a drop or two in an ounce of serum. Also, if you have a blend you already particularly like, use that as long as it includes EOs that are good for the skin and not photo sensitizing.

I found a company that seems to share a lot of the same product line and ingredients as mine did. I'm currently using their face cream. It has similar ingredients to Blue Chamomile Face Cream but more the texture and consistency of the Green Tea Face Cream. It's unscented. Check them out:

I'm a big fan of Facial Massage. I do it briefly every day after applying my skin serum (argan, squalane, almond). I credit it with keeping my skin from sagging and also keeping neck skin from getting too loose. After all, it's the sagging facial skin that contributes to the sagging neck skin -- gravity and all that! I definitely notice the difference when I haven't done it for a while because my face is naturally kinda "jowly."

Massage tones the facial muscles, improves circulation, and helps with lymphatic drainage which can help with puffiness.
