Rowe Glow is currently looking to add a makeup artist or cosmetologist to our beauty team in the Bloomington / Indianapolis area.

While we specialize in luxury bridal hair and makeup, we also work with photographers and clients for professional headshots, branding sessions, and special events.

This could be a great opportunity for someone who:
• Works in the beauty industry
• Loves bridal hair and makeup
• Is interested in assisting with photoshoots and professional beauty services
• Wants to learn or expand into airbrush makeup

Or wants to start their own business but needs help on the business client side.

I’m also happy to personally train the right person on airbrush makeup at no cost, so passion and willingness to learn are more important than having every skill already.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and excited to grow in the industry.

A Trial Is a Test Run — Not the Final Service

A bridal trial is about designing and refining the look, not delivering the finished wedding-day experience.

During the trial you are:
• Testing colors
• Trying different placement or styles
• Making adjustments
• Getting feedback from the bride

It’s more collaborative and exploratory.

The day-of service is the finalized ex*****on of that plan.

2. Wedding Day Includes Pressure, Timeline, and Performance

On the wedding day, the artist is responsible for flawless ex*****on under real conditions.

That includes:
• Strict timelines
• Photography-ready longevity
• Emotional, high-pressure environment
• Often a full bridal party waiting

It’s similar to the difference between a dress fitting vs the wedding gown being worn down the aisle.

The wedding day often includes additional work that brides don’t see.

Examples:
• Sanitizing and repacking a full kit
• Travel logistics
• Timeline coordination
• Early start times
• Touch-ups and adjustments

A trial is usually one service in a controlled setting.

The trial is a planning tool, while the wedding day service is the result that lasts forever in photos.

Brides are paying for:
• Experience
• Reliability
• Performance under pressure
• A look that photographs beautifully for the next 50 years

This week has been heavy.
When tragedy hits places we love, or places that look like home, it lands differently. It’s okay if you feel unsettled, emotional, distracted, or overwhelmed. That’s a human response, not a weakness.
