Before I introduce you to the new Glowwell clay masks this month, I want to answer the question you might already be asking: "I've never used a dry clay mask. What do I actually do with it?"

Here's the whole ritual in five steps:

🌿 Scoop about a teaspoon of dry powder into a small bowl
🌿 Add roughly half a teaspoon of liquid — plain water, yogurt, rose hydrosol, or milk all work beautifully
🌿 Mix into a smooth paste and adjust the liquid until it spreads easily
🌿 Apply to clean skin and leave on for 10–12 minutes
🌿 Rinse thoroughly with warm water

The reason I make mine as a dry powder rather than a pre-mixed paste is simple: no water in the formula means no preservatives needed, a much longer shelf life, and you get to control the texture every single time you mix it.

A small (1 oz) jar makes approximately 8–10 masks. At $14, that's roughly $1.56 per treatment. The large(2 oz) jar will make 16-20 masks and retails for $24.

Some of you have been following along on my soap journey for a while now. Thank you for that, genuinely! What you might not know is that I've quietly been working on something new.

Glowwell is my skincare line - small batch, botanical, and made with the same obsessive attention to ingredients that goes into every bar of soap I make. It started with a facial oil (which some of you may have already spotted in my Painted Tree booth) and this weekend it's growing.
