Hello Beauties!

I would like to formally introduce the face behind the mask! ☺️Many people forget that nail technicians have always worn masks prior to the pandemic as a way to protect themselves from the hazardous fumes and particles that are put into the air during a service, so yes masking is normal! Lol

True story:

I was invited to a wedding a few months ago by a newer client I met during this the pandemic. Her sister (existing client) referred she and mother who also was one of the many pandemic clients.

Anyway, my family shows up to the wedding already nervous because I was the only one connected to the bride and groom. I see the groom before the ceremony, waved hello. He briefly smiles and waves. I see my client later and congratulate her and she just kind of smiles at me. It was starting to feel a little awkward. My husband notices and I just without question blamed it on nerves from the wedding and maybe being overwhelmed seeing everyone (duh!). The wedding was great overall and we had fun despite that little moment.

Fast forward, it was time for the bride to come get her nails again and during her appointment we caught up about the wedding andddd the awkward moment somehow came up. She giggles and says that it was until talking to her sister that she realized who I was at the wedding! Bride thought I was the groom’s guest, groom thought I was the bride’s guest! That’s when I also realized that I have never taken my mask off around them! 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s a bow memory we can look back on and laugh about during our appointments! 😂

Happy Anniversary Beauties!

Despite starting my business just a few months before the pandemic started and the many hurdles that came with it post pandemic, I am happy to celebrate another year in business!

Hopefully I can get through writing this without tears..😭

Honestly, these past four years have been extremely difficult. So many different life changing events occurred in my life both good and bad. A few months ago I wasn’t sure I was going to make it and had to contemplate whether I had to close my doors and as it financially was not making sense. You may have noticed the lack of presence on social media. My mental health really took the brunt of it all and I needed time to reset and rediscover my passion again. I feel like I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Thankfully, things have recently started to improve and I am so happy to able to keep my doors open.

This goes without saying…I thank each and everyone of my clients that continue to see the value in my services and continue to support my business year after year. Most have seen me through these hurdles, and events and have been extremely supportive through it all. I am truly grateful for you all! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me get to 4 years! Yay for another year, and many more to come! I love you all!
