I can't even begin to write enough accolades about the Chiropractic staff of Action Wellness with a special shout out to Dr Jess, Dr Morgan and Office Staff.
Dr Jess became a client of mine in the Fall of 2022, so I'm kicking my own butt for not getting into her practice sooner.
I had not been to the Chiropractor in over 10 years. 8/9 months ago I started to have a persistent dull ache in between my shoulder blades (rhomboid muscles) that would often wake me up at night and became a daily nuisance at work. I attributed it to the hyper extension of my rhomboid muscles when I work (bad posture/ shoulders forward/head down)... going home being on my phone,... then sleeping on my side/stomach. My thought was that those muscles are just never getting a break. Maybe I needed to strength train more or it's just perimenopause and it's something I have to live with.
After months of trying to massage it out, using Epsom salts, anti inflammatories, family/friends "cracking my back" etc, I decided to give chiropractic a go at it.
When Dr Morgan adjusted my neck for the first time, I swear I have never heard anything like it ... even in the best TikTok adjustment videos 🤣 Obviously the daily neck cracking I was doing myself was just a bandaide.
I swear it was that very night I had INSTANT relief. I had several follow up sessions to keep things aligned/mobile and now I try to get in monthly to stay ahead of things. (FYI they take walk-ins as an established patient)
Not only do the staff meet you with upbeat smiles, the family atmosphere makes it a BEYOND enjoyable visit. The only thing I regret is taking so long to see them and living with something I thought wasn't fixible with my lifestyle !!
