Question: How often should you get your hair trimmed?
Answer: It depends. Hair length, hair texture, and how fast your hair grows all play into how often you need to get a cut.
Shorter styles require more maintenance to keep the hair looking fresh, while longer styles can often go a bit longer.
Fine, straight hair can show breakage more quickly, requiring more frequent trimming, while the texture of curly or coily hair can help to disguise some unevenness, allowing for a little less frequent cutting.
A general rule of thumb is every 6 weeks for more frequent maintenance, and up to 12 weeks for less maintenance.
