Hi, I’m Melanie! 🤍

I’ve loved hair for as long as I can remember. Long before I became a stylist, I was the kid experimenting with my own hair just to see what I could create. That curiosity eventually turned into a career that lets me combine creativity with helping people feel confident.

I especially love creating lived-in blondes, dimensional color, and soft, effortless hair that grows out beautifully. My favorite part of every appointment is getting to know you, listening to your goals, and creating a look that’s tailored to your features, your lifestyle, and what makes you feel your best.

If you’re someone who enjoys a calm, relaxing salon experience, you’ll probably feel right at home in my chair. I’m naturally a little quiet, love the details, and believe the best results come from really listening. (The head massage is a bonus. 🤍)

I recently joined the team at Salon Oriana, where I’m continuing my advanced education and refining my craft alongside an incredible group of artists. I’m excited to keep growing, sharing my work, and meeting so many new faces.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me with my three dogs (especially my dachshund, Zander), hiking, thrift shopping, working on a craft project, or grabbing a salted caramel cold brew.

At Salon Oriana, whether we have one chair open or five, our goal has never been to fill space quickly.

Our goal is to find the right people.

For the past several months, we’ve intentionally held one chair open while focusing on developing our current apprentice and continuing to invest in the team we already have. As she prepares to finish her program, the timing finally feels right to begin interviewing again.

We’ve received applications over the past weeks and months, and if you’ve reached out before and still feel drawn to what we’re building here, we’d love to hear from you again.

For this opportunity, we’re looking for a stylist with some experience behind the chair. Whether that’s one year, five years, or twenty-five years, experience matters less than values, professionalism, and a genuine desire to continue learning.

Salon Oriana serves a beautifully diverse clientele. We welcome all walks of life, work with all textures, and offer everything from classic cuts and color to modern trends, alternative styles, extensions, men’s services, and more.

No one is expected to arrive knowing everything. What matters is curiosity, humility, and a willingness to grow. Education is one of our core values, and we believe learning doesn’t stop after beauty school—or after 25 years behind the chair.

Our approach to education goes beyond shadowing and assisting. We provide hands-on mentorship, personalized training, and one-on-one education tailored to the areas each stylist wants to strengthen and refine.
