Lone Wolf 2.0 is ready for action! It’s been an extremely stressful and exhausting couple of weeks making the jump. Couldn’t have done it without some helping hands from our family and friends so THANK YOU!

It’s time for the next chapter of Lone Wolf! We’ve been quietly working on a new space right next door. Now that it’s close, we thought we’d let you in on the plan. We’re making the BIG jump right across the sidewalk to the building next door. Here are some details to be aware of:

Where: We will be at 707 N East St now, not 705. We’ll be in the lower, center unit. You can enter through the main door where the arrow is pointing. Parking is still the same. The lot behind or on the street is free.

When: Our goal is to be open there by May 12th. That’s quick but we’ve kind of working in secret over there for a while now. We will touch base with everyone via text/email for a while to remind them where the new place is.

Why: We love where we’re at, but this opportunity lets us have a more open workspace, some much needed natural light, and cozier environment for the customers. It will also give us the chance to grow a little more if it seems right.

This move also means our current space will be up for rent. It would be a great place to get your own thing going or split it with a friend or two to have a creative space. Happy to get you connected with the building owner. They’ve been great to us for 8 years now.

Big thanks to everyone who has sat in these chairs over the years and trusted us to keep you looking good! We've managed to stay a small, fun, neighborhood barber shop after all this time and I wouldn't have it any other way. I really had no idea what this would turn into when I decided to do my own thing. Now, you've got the LONE WOLVES and the shop has continued to evolve in such an easy, organic way. Here's to another year of dumb jokes, embarrassing stories, and good tunes while we help you look good and feel good.

Hey everyone! This month we're doing a little extra work. We're helping to raise money for Best Buddies in Central Illinois! We'll be kicking a portion of each haircut to them as a way to help out, but we also have a team page where we're trying to hit a goal of $500. If you come in with proof of a donation to our team of $5 or more we'll give you $5 off any service.

Barber Buddies Helping Best Buddies:
I've always viewed what we do as more than just giving people a good haircut. We laugh and make jokes, often times at our own expense. We help people look their best, and in turn feel their best. We're part of the community in a bigger way than we acknowledge sometimes. Every day we get to make a connection with people, and even though it may seem like a small interaction, over time we get to know everyone on a deeper level. What I've noticed over the years is how many people are struggling with different battles in one way or another. After a long-time customer kept telling me about Best Buddies, my family and I joined the walk last year. It was an eye-opening experience for us, and we even realized we had a few customers that were part of the program. Giving people a good haircut and cracking a joke is a great thing, but I realized people need REAL buddies in this world to help their specific needs. I also realized we have a great community built around our customers, so why not rally together for a month and see what we can raise? We're not high pressure salesmen here, we're just a couple guys trying to make a little difference beyond our chairs. We hope you can think of the people in your life who may need a buddy and help us throw a few dollars their way to make sure it happens.
