Remember sometimes you don’t always come out of the surgery room looking this good. She worked hard and is constantly staying on top of her garment and massages 👏🏼🥹

No massage therapist needs to open anything up, water should be your best friend, massages start after 2 days of surgery and your garment will be your second skin for 3 months 😘

Let’s talk about the bad word on post op healing “fibrosis” 😱😮💨
Although this can happen to anyone; lumps, bumps, skin folds, skin unevenness, and skin discoloration IS all part of the healing process and all part of the scary part of the post op healing process ❤️🩹
It is totally NORMAL 🤭
Think of yourself as a caterpillar waiting to turn into a butterfly, because once you get passed the ugly stage that is when the beauty starts to show 🤩🥳
My advice as a post op massage therapist: don’t look at yourself until 2 months (unless you have to), stop over analyzing everything, trust your therapist and most importantly FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS so it can heal properly 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
