✨ One Year Licensed ✨

Today marks one year since I officially became a licensed cosmetologist, and honestly, it doesn’t feel real.

If I’m being completely honest, there were so many times during cosmetology school that I wanted to quit. The long days, the stress, the tests, and trying to balance everything in life made me question myself more than once. But even after graduating, there have been times in the salon when I’ve doubted myself, felt discouraged, or wondered if I was good enough. I would have never made it though school without Crystal Wilson pushing me everyday ❤️Building a clientele and growing in this industry isn’t always easy, but I’m so thankful that I kept going.

I want to give a huge thank you to my mom, stepdad, dad, boyfriend, aunt, cousins, family, friends, Crystal Wilson, and everyone else who pushed me to keep going when things got hard. Thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and reminding me why I started when I wanted to quit. I truly would not be where I am today without all of you.

And to my amazing clients! THANK YOU. Thank you for trusting me with your hair, supporting my small business, referring your friends and family, sharing my posts, and continuing to choose me. Every appointment, conversation, laugh, and transformation has helped me grow not only as a stylist but as a person.

Over the past year, I’ve learned so much and discovered just how much I truly love this career. I love helping people feel confident, building relationships with my clients, and getting to do something I’m passionate about every day.

This first year has been full of growth, learning, challenges, accomplishments, and memories I’ll never forget. While I’m proud of how far I’ve come, I know this is only the beginning. I have so many goals for my future, so many things I want to learn, and so much more I want to accomplish in this industry.

One of my biggest goals is to continue growing my clientele and eventually do hair full-time. I know it will take time, hard work, and dedication, but this past year has shown me that anything is possible when you don’t give up on yourself.

Thank you to every single person who has supported me throughout this journey and continues to support me today. Every appointment, referral, share, comment, and word of encouragement means more than you’ll ever know.

Here’s to one year licensed, chasing dreams, and continuing to grow. I can’t wait to see what year two has in store. 🤍✨💇‍♀️
