Q&A

1) Can I wash, brush, blow dry or flat iron my hair once the feathers are in? Yes, you can do all of those things. The feathers are durable so they can stand the heat. They go where you go and tolerate whatever you do normally with your hair. You can even swim in them (some colors may fade more than others though in chlorine). The only thing I wouldn't do is brush harshly up by where the bead is, simply because it's uncomfortable.

2) What holds the feathers in? I use a Silicone Link Bead, it is a very solf silicone lined inside, so no damage to human hair. The outside of the bead is Aluminum. The diameter of the bead is 5mm (outside) x 3mm (inside).There are three colors available: Black, Brown and Beige

3) Can I take the feather extension out by myself? To take them out, simply take a pair of needle nose pliers and squeeze gently on both sides of the flattened bead to pop it back into a circle shape, then slide feathers out. DO NOT REUSE BEADS! They will mangle in your hair causing you to have to cut the lock of hair out. Call me to put back in.

4) How long do feather extensions last? They last approximately 3 months. It depends on how hard you are on your hair. I do not brush my hair much since it's always up so I'm not doing a lot of pulling around the bead. As your hair grows, the distance between the bead and your roots will bother you a bit if you brush your hair. Just call me and we can move them back up for $5.

5) I already have extensions and just want them moved or put back in. How much is that? I will move them back up towards your scalp or put them back in for $5 each extension.

6) How does Tracy's House of Hair compare price wise to the local salons? I've called a couple area salons and their prices for feather extensions range from $15-40 per feather.

Stuffed Turkey

Baby Bruno was sitting in his grandmother's kitchen, watching her prepare the Thanksgiving meal.

"What are you doing?" Bruno asked.

"Oh, I'm just stuffing the turkey," his grandmother replied.
