Thanks Stacey Chuning Stansbury for the smart idea! FYI next week when traveling 7 Hwy to the salon. Please take note of the temporary new route!

The much-anticipated opening of the Whataburger, 905 Missouri 7 Hwy, is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Monday, May 9. With the opening, the City and Whataburger anticipate more traffic than usual in the area and will have detours set up for those wishing to enjoy a burger May 9-15.

➡Westbound South Outer Road will be closed from 7 Hwy to Mock Ave. and traffic from 7 Hwy will not be able to turn right onto South Outer Road.

➡Whataburger traffic from 7 Hwy will be detoured to R.D. Mize and 15th Street to access South Outer Road/Whataburger from the east.

➡Please respect nearby neighborhoods and businesses and keep to the outlined detour routes.

Hello loyal clients and friends. I wanted to spend some time to talk about our current situation. As you all know, the mask mandate has been lifted.... “For vaccinated people”. This creates quite a dilemma for businesses large and small. Style Studio 400 will no longer require masks for our customers or for stylists, just as Hair By Schelly will no longer require masks for my clients. I will NOT be asking my clients nor anyone else in the salon whether they have been vaccinated. I am NOT the Covid vaccine police and neither is anyone else working in any business. I expect the same respect from anyone who walks in the salon doors and sits in my chair. What you choose to do with your body is your business and vice-a vers-a.
Please be aware that when you walk in the salon there is a possibility that someone may or may not have had the vaccine. If you are not comfortable with that possibility I will completely understand should you choose to no longer use my services or simply want to take some time to wait and see how the next few months will go.
Spending the last year in the service industry has been difficult at times. Sometimes we will have 9 different people sitting in our chair in a single day. And those clients all have different opinions on everything from politics to health. I am very lucky that the majority of my clients have been loyal for many years. And many of them I have become friends with.
I and everyone in our salon have been very careful about cleanliness and following all guidelines that were suggested for our industry. We will continue with the cleaning between clients. And most of the time there won’t be a problem with maintaining a safe distance from anyone else in the salon.
Thank you for giving me your patronage thru this difficult year. And thank you for being considerate and understanding during this transitional time.

Been a Reeeaaaallly long time since I was a brunette!

With the holidays fast approaching, the salon may be busy. Please contact me and and wait in your car until your appointment time. I will come wave you in or text back. We are still being extra cautious with cleaning and require everyone to wear masks. If you suspect that you may be sick or are waiting for a test result, please reschedule your appointment. I believe that we have all known someone who has been affected by COVID. Please be considerate.
