• fewer educators and schools teaching it
• fewer salons advertising it
• less nail art online using it
• less innovation, less demand, less noise
• supply stores shrinking the acrylic section every year

This isn’t a feeling. This is data you can see with your own eyes if you walk into any supply store, scroll any major platform, or watch what brands are actually promoting now. Acrylic isn’t disappearing because anyone “hates” it.
It’s disappearing because the industry follows profit, and the profit has moved to gel systems.

•Brands invest in it.
•Educators teach it.
•Manufacturers innovate for it.
•The momentum is already set.

I’m not predicting the future. I’m reporting the present, even if things are different in your immediate area.

Some corners of the world still use acrylic heavily. That doesn’t mean the trend isn’t shifting. It just means the wave hasn’t reached them yet.
