Take a minute and breathe. This time is quickly changing, unpredictable, stressful, and leaving many people fearful and panicking.
I'm thankful that my husband works in an industry that has been deemed essential.
I'm thankful that I have been able to continue serving our community, cautiously.
I'm thankful that I've been able to remain flexible in helping friends so that they can continue working as well.
We are all doing what we can to keep this from spreading and keep life moving. People need food, first responders, and medical care.
I'm immensely thankful for everyone that is on the front lines and risking so much every day to make sure that everyone is taken care of. Going anywhere outside your home right now, is a risk. You will risk catching and ultimately spreading this virus.
I think the hardest part, for me, of coming into contact with people every day, is you don't know if you've encountered someone that has it. If you do happen to unknowingly catch it, you then risk spreading the virus to everyone YOU come into contact with, including the kids you come home to at the end of the day.
I'm praying for everyone's health and safety at this time. May the precautions you are taking be enough, and may we all hold on to the hope that this might all be over with soon!

...I may regret this...
..I have been having some difficulty getting out for my runs. I was inspired by a friend's post about a used treadmill she had that wasn't perfect, but allowed her to get some exercise time in before her girl's woke up each day. It got me thinking. Why am I waiting until I have hundreds of dollara to get a super fancy treadmill when I may be able to find a working treadmill in decent used condition. Something to get moving again.
So, I started looking...I couldn't find anything under $200 used...not quite what I had in mind. Then I saw an ad for a manual treadmill. I'd seen it before, but ignored it because something so inexpensive and basic, wasn't what I'd been looking for previously.
I started looking at reviews, began doing research and decided that it may just be a decent option for what I'm looking for. I ordered one and it will be here on Monday. It doesn't have a huge footprint and folds up to be pretty compact. As a manual, I will have to work a little harder on my runs, but it is reputed to help with cardio...so, I may just die on my new treadmill. I know cardio is super important, especially for my longer endurance runs, but I really don't like cardio very much.
Do you know much about manual treadmills? If you have one or have used one, what are your thoughts?

The day started with coffee, a Lotus drink, a dirty chai tea, then moved on to picking up a truck part, lucky charms, pie, and a balloon surprise with a birthday prayer! Then we ate some breakfast, washed some dishes in my new dishwasher 😍, fixed the truck, and got ready for the rest of the day. My babysitters arrived and I went off to music practice, received surprise flowers, ran to the post office, dropped books at the library, grabbed another Lotus drink and then made it to my meeting. Finished my meeting and then went to my party of Bingo, friends, beer and pizza! Received yet another surprise gift of high quality chocolates, handmade soap and a hand lotion with party poppers ❤...then ended the evening finishing off the pizza with a couple friends at my house!
I could not have asked for a better birthday. I was blessed by all of the wonderful wishes, prayers, presents, and presence of so many dear friends and family members. Days like yesterday confirm in my mind that, while life is hard, I'm doing life right!
Thank you so much to all of my amazing friends and family that made yesterday what it was ❤🤗 I will never forget it!!

For my birthday this year, my hubby decided to make life easier for both of us and get me a new dishwasher!!
I picked this one out over a year ago when we realized that the dishwasher in our home was not performing up to our standards and probably didn't have much life left in it.
Over the last year or more, the quality of "clean" that came out of the dishwasher got significantly worse, to the point that most things came out dirtier than they went in 🤔 This lead to much rewashing, stress, and procrastination. Rather than making life easier, our dishwasher was making life much more stressful(so very backward, I know).
In January, we got an email informing us that our favorite home improvement store was having a sale on dishwashers. My hubby decided that it was time for an upgrade at last and that it would be my birthday present for the year. He ordered it shortly after confirming with me what I'd picked out...and it was delivered today!!

As he unhooked the old dishwasher we discovered many things, to which I will not go into detail here, but don't let your imaginations run too far, it'll get disturbing fast.
After a day of frustration and much vacuuming and cleaning 🤢......the new dishwasher is now installed, with many thanks to my amazing husband❤, and is currently running it's first load of dishes 😍🙏

"Aahh! I scared!!" ...she says as she runs over to the couch climbs up and wedges herself behind me.

My fearless girl is suddenly afraid of many things and must come find me every time I leave the room for more than a couple minutes.

She is my spitfire, no limits, I'll do it my way child. I love her so deeply and don't ever want her to be anything but the person she was made to be ❤
Sweet girl, you will rock the world and change so many lives, whatever you choose to do!

Remember those TWO days you fell out of your routine because of the holidays...
..yah, you forgot to take your vitamin drink those two days and then you ended up with the same cold as baby girl 👍

I can always feel the difference when I forget my supplement drink and have really been missing the plant based energy drink(my coffee intake has gone up as a result...). The recovery from these forgetful days can be hard y'all. I've had this cold for three days, but seem to be a tad better today. Resting at home today because life continues tomorrow.

Left over half & half from Christmas? No problem....
...commence making giant mug of aeropress coffee and fancy it up with said half & half and flavored syrups 😍

Yup, it's good. I'll just be right here for the next hour or so 😁☕
