An ode to Trinity,

A new haircut frames your face,
but it’s the light within you
that makes you beautiful.

You carry grace.
You carry love.
Not the kind that fades,
but the eternal kind,
the kind that started with a Man
who came into this world with no agenda
but to save it.

You know Jesus well.
And it shows.

You’ve mastered the art
of removing the bushel.
You shine unencumbered,
bright and honest
for everyone to see.

I’m sad to see you leave,
but so proud of your yes,
your obedience to the Lord,
and all you’ve done.

I’m grateful I met you.
Now go change the world
with that bright, bright light.

It’s been beautiful
and glorious to witness.
