What does self care actually look like? Many people think of self-care as “pampering” services such as massages and pedicures, but did you know self-care can actually be classified in 8 different categories? I recently learned this and compiled a list of the different self care categories and couple examples of each category. The cool thing is self-care is unique to everyone! What are some things you do for self care? Do certain categories speak more to you? For me, self-care is soaking in a tub with epsom salt, gratitude journaling, juicing, enjoying an herbal tea in the evening, spending time in nature, getting a massage, reading my Bible, crafting, enjoying solitude to collect my thoughts when I have had a hard day, and snuggling with my husband and our dogs.
