Tomorrow Reese turns 7 my middle baby who most of you know by name because you ask about her at every appointment.

We did the trending “we can’t come in today, we’re sick” audio and spent the day just us.

19 years in aesthetics, single mom of 3, owner of FLAUNT, still flying to NY once a month & I built this schedule so I can say yes to days like this. And I teach my girls the same: you can build a career you love and still protect the birthdays.

Sometimes you really do get exactly the message you needed that day.

And THIS is why I love what I do.

She’s already loving her results, but my favorite part is that we’re not done creating the plan.

She’s coming back Friday, and instead of just asking, What do you want to do next? we’re going to sit down and map out a completely customized aesthetic plan, what I would prioritize, what I wouldn’t touch, what makes sense now, what can wait, and how to space everything out so she can maintain her results without ever feeling like she’s constantly “getting stuff done”.

Because the goal at Flaunt isn’t to do everything.

It’s to know what to do, when to do it, and when to leave your face alone.

And hearing someone with a platform like hers recommend me so genuinely? Especially on a day when I was hanging on by a thread?

Yeah… I needed that one.

August was basically the month of getting my life back together

Kids back to school. Me back in the gym. A new skincare line at Flaunt. Lots of trainings. NAD+. New beauty finds from Japan. A new marketing team. A busier-than-expected month at the office… and finally a little bit of routine again.

I’m realizing more and more that you guys don’t just want to see what happens in my treatment chair. You want the kids, the business, the beauty stuff I actually do, the chaos, the travel, the wellness experiments and apparently… the occasional bikini.

So I’m leaning into it.

August was growth + getting back into a routine.

Your mom’s not a Disney Cruise mom… she takes you to Japan while she researches aesthetic treatments and bribes you with crane games and shopping.

But this trip actually changed what I wanted to bring home to my patients.

While I was in Japan, I experienced two treatments that genuinely impressed me.

First, a PN skin booster treatment. I loved the way my skin looked and felt afterward so much that when I got home, I started researching how I could offer something similar at FLAUNT.

After doing my homework, I’m so excited to say it is officially here and available at FLAUNT for both the face and scalp.

Then there was the Japanese head spa. My scalp had honestly never felt that clean, and my hair felt incredible afterward. That experience also pushed me to look more closely at what we could be doing for scalp and hair health in the practice.

This is one of my favorite parts of traveling: I get to experience what aesthetics and beauty look like in other parts of the world, research what I actually believe in, and figure out what is worth bringing back to Boca.

And this time, Japan came home with me.
