Boerne small business owner puts her roots to work Amala Thorne’s business, Island Turmeric, is a tribute to her roots. Her family knowledge and recipes have become soaps and healing balms, which she sells at local farmers markets.

My products will be available for purchase at The Country The Country Basket of Pipe Creek from February.
