In this first photo, I just opened Empire Hair Studio. I had owned shops before, I’ve failed, and this time felt different. This first picture was me stuffing 2 stations together to get in a photo. These 2 stations were the only stations I had.
I was crazy enough to believe that I could do something with this… looking back at it. I feel crazy!
I was so inspired by my wife and kids. To get this thing off the ground. That’s my why! And that’s how it happened.
I started this with NO MONEY! Just a vision. My wife helped me from the first roll of paint down to the last tile on the floor. It’s been over 2 years and here we are!
I finally caught some ground with one question he had for me before making a decision on being the first member to empire hair studio was “what are your values as a shop owner”. I felt like he was looking for a reason to believe in this thing. To believe in me. I just said I want us to WIN! And everyone after us! That man added FLAVOR to the cause. We snowballed after and everyone on my team for some reason put their trust in me to get this going. Words don’t describe my gratitude for the team I have and the faith we put in each other. It’s not even close to over! But I’ll keep pushing to be the best leader I can for my team. And I just want yall to know that without your trust and belief this ship would not be where it is and this would NOT be Empire Hair Studio! , barber yasser,

And to all my clients from then to now! You all mean the most to me! Not because we built this. Because I made a choice to value you and build relationships. And I have friends forever! Yall fed my family. And I’ll keep being the best barber I can be knocking out freshies and being sure you can trust me in every part of this.
