Thank you Working Equitation Team Idaho for a fabulous two days! I loved teaching the workshops on Core Strengthening Exercises and Understanding Kinesiology Tape, providing bodywork to all the amazing horses I met, and getting to know some really fabulous people from Montana, Utah and Idaho! Thank you for trusting me with your ponies, and I wish you all great rides this weekend! 💙🤎

When cold hosing isn't an option, I pull my "w**d" sprayer - aka "wound buster" out! Pro tip ➡️ buy your sprayer new, then clean and sanitize. (Do not use the old sprayer in your garden shed!) Fill the sprayer with saline solution. I make my own using 2 Tablespoons of table salt per gallon of distilled or boiled then cooled water. The gentle mist flushes the wound without causing tissue damage, and the saline water doesn't sting like regular water will.

We’ll be checking saddle fit, answering questions, and making sure things feel right for both horse and rider — no pressure, no sales pitch, just good conversations and thoughtful evaluations.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 has been so exhilarating AND so challenging: a whirlwind of increased business, new adventures and responsibilities, and fantastic educational opportunities as I pursued more knowledge to further make an impact on the health and performance of the horses I'm privileged to call clients. It also came with losses of beloved horses, the most heat intense and smoke filled summer EVER, and ended in a personal struggle trying to balance an injury and ongoing rehab on my foot while working, and the pull of sudden family needs that took more attention than I had hours in the day. I tend to get pretty stoic when things "go south" and don't like to admit when I'm in the w**ds. I was definitely in the thick of it and still have apologies to make from where I dropped the ball administratively. (Can I just say the struggle is real for a sole proprietor?) I have so appreciated everyone's understanding and support as I sorted through the tough stuff. Let's be clear though, I LOVE my work and am so passionate about helping your horse be the best version of themselves for whatever goals you have in mind. Improving how they feel, move, perform, age and meet the requests asked of them is my jam, my passion and what I continue to obsess about. I took advantage of the holiday break to assess business strengths and weaknesses and am excited to move forward in 2025 with improvements while continuing to offer best practice, hands-on bodywork modalities for your horses. Let's GOOOOO!!
