Minoxidil because “Bad hair day” shouldn’t be a thing!
Are you suffering from female alopecia or temporary hair loss, or do you want thicker hair? Minoxidil can help you if you use it consistently. The molecule is the same in the men’s and women’s version, but the male version is cheaper. The treatment is only effective as long as you’re using it.

Since commencing my practice as a licensed esthetician 13 years ago, I have observed an increasing number of clients experiencing hair loss or female alopecia. Having personally experienced hair loss due to emotional distress following my mother's passing, I am aware of the stress and anxiety that this condition can cause. Fortunately, my hair loss was temporary, and I regained my full hair; during the hair loss phase, I utilized a Capillus red light cap that facilitated regrowth. As a non-medical professional, I recommend consulting a dermatologist specializing in hair loss. However, as a licensed esthetician with medical esthetician experience, I would like to share a list of over-the-counter products that can aid in achieving a healthier scalp and hair. Hair loss results from various conditions and requires customized treatment; this list may be beneficial for mild cases only.

- RED LIGHT THERAPY cap/hat,
- MINOXIDIL like Rogaine (men's products are the exact same products but cheaper),
⬆️ those products will only work for as long as you use them.
- Nizoral dandruff shampoo or any shampoo with 1% Ketoconazole,
- Pumpkin seed oil with saw palmetto,
- Maelove full follicle serum.
- Adapalene application around temples and on scalp will facilitate product absorption. Skip if you have sensitive skin.

Treatment takes time and consistency. It will take 6 months before you see results, if any. I’m not affiliated with any brands or products and can’t guarantee any improvement.

Having great skin gives you so much confidence. Your skin is your largest organ. Good skin comes from dedication and consistency. Botox and feelers don’t keep your skin from aging. Routine at home skin care and monthly esthetician visits will help slowing down the aging process.

Sebaceous hyperplasia treatment options:

- A dermatologist can remove the bumps by freezing them during a process called cryotherapy. After the bumps are frozen, they will dry up, and go away.

- Regular professional facial peels containing chemicals like salicylic acid can be applied by your licensed esthetician to help unclog the pores and prevent sebaceous hyperplasia.

- Retinol is a key ingredient in controlling sebaceous hyperplasia. When it’s applied to the skin, it can reduce or prevent your sebaceous glands from clogging. You can get low-concentration retinol over the counter, but if your case is severe or extensive, a full-strength prescription will work best. Retinol needs to be applied for about two weeks for you to start seeing results. You will have to keep using the cream because if you stop, your sebaceous hyperplasia will return in about a month.
