Who else wants The Big Elbow™️?
Not a great multitasker😵💫
Aaaaaand we back!! ⛷️
Bonus points if you trigger an emotional release 😭 😂
My advice to new massage therapists has always been to SLOW DOWN.
Vigorous work has an important place in many styles like sports massage but something ⭐️MAGICAL⭐️ happens when you cut your speed in half - all of a sudden your hands start to sense the subtle reactions of the clients body, differences in tissue density and allows you to make the micro adjustments to your strokes feel MUCH more natural. It also tends to have a calming effect, not only on the clients mental state but also on yours at the therapist 😮💨 🧘🏻♂️
Oh yeah - and don’t forget to BREATHE!!
You got this 💪🏼
I LOVE giving deep tissue but the no pain - no gain philosophy needs to take a dirt nap 😴
