I’m getting better and better with my clipper-over-comb, my shears-over-comb, and most importantly, I’m getting more comfortable and confident behind the chair.

I’m noticing something different now… I’m diving into the cut, trusting what I’ve learned, and getting the work done without looking around for the teacher to step in and help me. And that right there is growth! 🙏🏽

Thank you, God. Thank you, Mr. Alex. Thank you, Mr. Craig, for continuing to teach, correct, and push me to become better.

And thank You, Lord, for everything You continue to put me through, because every challenge is building me into the woman and barber I’m becoming.

Today, we have a high bald taper fade in the books! He didn’t want the top cut, so we left that length exactly where he wanted it. We cleaned up the sides, lined him up, trimmed everything nice and sharp—and it came together with ease!

A huge thank-you to Mr. Alex, and especially Mr. Craig, for correcting me, guiding me, and helping me perfect these techniques along the way. 🙏🏽

But today was a BIG moment for me… for the first time, my teacher didn’t have to step in and help. That alone says so much about the progress I’m making. And then hearing, “Great job,” made it even better! 🥹🔥

Thank You, Jesus, for this life, these steps, and the journey You are placing in front of me.

Today, Francesco wanted to keep a little more length with a nice layered look and a 90-degree cut. We cleaned up the sides, cleaned up the back, shortened everything up just the way he asked, tightened up the details, and left him looking fresh, clean, and sharp! ✂️🔥
