Hello dear clients!
I want to begin with saying thank you, for observing Northern Beauty Bar in The Best Of voting that recently took place for our sweet little town! It truly means the world to us that you thought of us to vote for.
With that, I would like to clarify a couple titles we were nominated for that is outside of our scope of practice.
As we tied for first place with a fellow local beauty tech, we’d like to show our appreciation for thinking of us, but we legally aren’t a dermatologist office nor will we claim to be. That falls under a completely different board in Idaho and one we cannot claim.
A legal dermatologist in Idaho must be a medical doctor (MD) or doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) who is fully licensed to practice medicine and surgery.
Although I, Amy (The Beauty Canvas Esthetician), offer chemical peels, microneedling, work on skin imperfections and various types of skin concerns, I am not a dermatologist. We have quite the different scope of practice.
We also placed second for Cosmetic Surgery or Medical Spa, another one which is far beyond our scope of practice.
We are so thankful, as a salon, for your ongoing support but want to be transparent and accurate in what titles represent us.

I’m so thankful for every single person who was apart of this move/transition. It wasn’t easy to say the least. But it’s been worth the blood sweat and tears it took to get here.
