As a registered nurse, I’m trained and authorized to adjust needle depth during microneedling—and that adjustment is critical because skin thickness and concerns vary by person and by facial area.

Proper depth selection leads to the desired treatment endpoint:
• Mild, even redness
• Minimal pinpoint bleeding

Too shallow of a treatment results in minimal to no improvement, while going too deep can cause unnecessary trauma and potentially permanent damage.
