It all started when a couple of fearless, boss babe women came together through friendship and business and created a unique luxury beauty space in Boone. Canvas Beauty Bar blossomed from a dream to a dream come true.
Starting in downtown Boone in 2015, Heather Rogers and Miah Zimmerman, two Boone natives, opened the doors to Canvas Beauty Bar. Canvas quickly outgrew the space and the vision became bigger and In 2021 Canvas became Health and Beauty House of Boone.
Being women business entrepreneurs, Miah and Heather wanted a space to be able to mentor and lead and eventually hold a space that will allow artists to open a business on their own, creating space for a full service luxury beauty bar!
