PSA: We made a change to our lip balm tubes.

Our previous tubes had 50% more product than what our labels said. Over time as ingredient costs continue to increase, we have decided to adjust the inner tube height to ensure our product weight is closer to what is marketed on packaging. Instead of 0.45oz per tube (3x more product than traditional plastic tubes), the tubes now hold 0.35 oz (still more than the 0.30oz label weight). You are still getting 2x more lip balm than the plastic tubes. We kept the exterior size the same size for ease of use and to keep it easy to remember when in a pocket (so you don't accidentally wash it with your laundry!).

Plus, with the shorter inner tube, you can access the full amount of product. We found the last bit of lip balm would be difficult to push up depending on how small your finger was. So instead of having to use a pencil to push up the remaining balm, it is now easier to use 100% of the lip balm.

And don't worry, there is still the satisfying *POP* of removing the lid!

The new stock of Smooth Mint Lip Balms are the new tubes. We still have some remaining Orange Grove and Original lip balms of the previous tubes.

We choose to keep our pricing consistent even when our ingredient costs fluctuate, eating the profits.

There is so much more behind the scenes of running a small business than we realize.

While influencers and marketing agencies market more is better, I call BS on it. At the end of our days, we won't remember what we bought, but who we spent our days with. When the storms come, we hold on to those we love, not the roofs over our heads.

We took soap scraps from when we bevel our soap edges, added some heat, fir and cedar essential oils, and activated charcoal then pressed them into "coal nuggets".

Packaged in a 100% plant-based, compostable bag with a soap ornament and ribbon.
