With your personal coloring and conditioning needs in mind, they specially curate your formula from scratch using the highest quality brands and ingredients—all natural, and PPD and ammonia free.

It all started with three, strong-willed women from Siberia.

There was Zena, who worked in nature conservation at a time when most women couldn’t. Living in Siberia during the 1940’s, Zena was well-read, thoughtful, and in tune with all the beauty and color she discovered working outdoors. And then there was Rose, renowned for her personal brand of style and grace, which she channeled into her work as a seamstress. Despite living in 1950’s Soviet Russia, she was known to defy the conservative styles of her time.

It’s with this heritage of vision, determination, and style that Marina Melnikova, granddaughter of Zena and Rose, opened ZENAROSE in 2016. Since then, ZENAROSE hair and makeup has been featured in national and international publications alike, including Vogue, The Knot, and Martha Stewart Weddings.

From blowouts and makeovers to wedding-day looks, ZENAROSE creates luxe, industry-best experiences from their boutique salon in Boston’s iconic Beacon Hill.
