I have watched the videos by Izzy Ogbeide where she tries to portray Edo people as irresponsible parents who send their underage daughters abroad for prost!tution.

I can understand that you went through a painful and difficult experience as a child who involved in pros!itution. No one will deny that such a life must have been extremely hard. However, using your personal experience to generalize and paint the entire Edo people as if that is what defines us is completely unacceptable.

That narrative is simply not true.

I am an Edo woman. Though I was born in Lagos, we returned to Benin in 1979 after my parents separated. From that time, my mother raised me and my three sisters alone as a single parent. She trained four daughters single-handedly and provided everything we needed food, clothing, and education.

At no point did we have to travel abroad for prostitution because our mother worked hard and took care of her responsibilities. She valued our dignity and our future.

Izzy Ogbeide, if your parents failed in their responsibilities, you have every right to hold them accountable. But it is wrong to drag the entire Edo people into your personal story and portray them as parents who deliberately send their daughters abroad for prost!tution.

Edo women are strong, hardworking, and dignified. We will not allow anyone to drag our people through the mud because of the failure of your parents.

My mother, as a single parent, sent all four of her daughters to school. Not for one day did she ever contemplate sending any of us abroad to prost!tute so that we could build a house for her.
In fact, while we were still in school, she already had her own house and her own car through hard work.

There are countless families like ours across Benin Kingdom, families who worked honestly, raised their children with dignity, and never dreamed of exploiting their children for wealth.

If your father sent you abroad at a young age, the same father lives in your house today, you shouldn't have allowed him into your home if the pain you express is truly as deep as you claim. You should primarily hold him accountable and not the entire Edo people.

So Izzy Ogbeide, next time direct your anger and frustration to those who failed you, your parents, and stop attempting to tarnish the image of an entire people because of your personal experience.

Edo people are not defined by your story!!!

I was deeply s@ddened and cried when I heard the leaked audio concerning Apostle Sam Okpe and Apostle Chikere Nwafor. It's disheartening to think that even new believers might not engage in such immoral behaviors. I wondered if people would still believe in the authenticity of Christianity after hearing such things. However, I am consoled by the biblical truth that the church is marching on, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

In the comment section, some people tried to defend them by saying that everyone has sinned, quoting the verse, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." However, they failed to complete the passage, which includes Jesus telling the adulterous woman, "Go and sin no more," meaning she should not continue in her sin. They also seem to have forgotten Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?"

It's important to remember that these individuals are supposed to be men of God, and therefore, acting contrary to God's word is deceptive. It makes me question if these so-called pastors are even true Christians. I pray for their salvation because I cannot understand how a pastor could be involved in smoking w**d, drinking alcohol, and committing adultery and fornication, as in the case of Apostle Chikere Nwafor. While some, like Sam Okpe, may have avoided the w**d and alcohol, they still participated in adultery and fornication.

This situation has opened my eyes to the reality that just as some people start companies or schools solely to make money, some individuals start churches as a business without a genuine calling from God. It's truly disheartening.

However, I want to emphasize that there are still genuine pastors and Christians today. Do not be discouraged in your Christian faith.

Remember the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 18, where he tells the people, "I am the only one of the LORD's prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets" (1 Kings 18:22). Later, feeling disheartened, he tells God, "I am the only one left" (1 Kings 19:10). But God assures him in 1 Kings 19 that He has reserved 7,000 in Israel who have not bowed to Baal (1 Kings 19:18).

See how Harrison is being dragged by many, but we do a lot daily, some dragging him now, like one Mr. Ben has done worst, ge was involved in missing girls case, Celine and Afiba, who are still missing till today, he was a close friend to Mr Andrew that got the girls missing. Let me give a little of what went down.

He’s a chronic womanizer. Been one since his youth. When he was moved in with his sister, Mrs Faith Oyedepo, he molested the housekeepers.
He’s always been a problematic child and the black sheep of their family. His siblings have cut off from him since but they are in touch with his wife, Mummy Bolu.

He's on drugs.

He does all sorts of drugs. Tablets and w**ds and he smokes ci******es.

This housegirl was the one who always woke up very early to clean the car he took out overnight (he hardly ever slept at home) and she got rid of ‘exhibits’ before Mommy and the other household members woke up. Wraps of w**ds, cherries stubs, money, empty spirit bottles and satchets, etc.

It’s a very long story.

All his wife of 33 years did was to cover him up while she worked on him behind the scenes.

Let’s not talk about his philandering, the baby mamas and the kids outside his marriage. As at today, we have counted over ten such children.
Some of these baby mamas are married women o.

God deals with men like him in a way their hidden atrocious behaviors are naturally evident. He always have their offsprings looking so much like them. Most of the kids with these outside women that I know are his carbon copy. The remaining ones resemble Mummy Oyedepo and her daughters.
So, he can't deny anything.

Mommy Bolu, the wife of 33 years travelled, when came back, and he had changed the lock to the house. It’s been three years since he did that. The next thing, he brings another woman to the church as wife.

He's no longer with the Winners church, he's on his own now. When he left Winners, he took so much money from the church. Messed up where he worked before. Reason Oyedepo vowed not to forgive him. (How can someone who preaches forgiveness say he won't forgive, I don't buy into that, na we sinners suppose dey unforgiving?)
