I’ve collected so many hobbies this year so it was only fitting to start the new year with a new hobby #2026

It’s such a blessing to be able to earn a living doing something that you absolutely love and truly, it’s all thanks to God for putting me in this position, for allowing me to do this and for blessing me with this talent that I can then gift to others.

This year I did not hit my financial goal which is a bummer but I’m also giving myself grace knowing that it was a bit of a rocky year for me because there were so many changes and transitions.

I moved from Houston to Boston, which means kind of starting my whole business over in a completely new coast after spending a year building relationships in Houston, I started school which severely limited the amount of time I had to work during this fall season…

But this is my second year working as a live artist and I am so thankful for the opportunities that I’ve had, and the amazing couples and companies who choose me to bring a little extra joy through my artwork to their celebrations.

I have so many goals for next year and ideas on how to increase my earnings and make sure I’m making a livable wage… and make it something that is a sustainable for the future but more now I’m thankful for my high months and I’m learning from my low months.

I hope that I can continue doing this truly for the rest of my life and I’m excited to see what 2026 has in store.

Let’s paint together, I’m working on one of my finals because it is finals week after all. I kinda went big with this one but I’m genuinely so excited to make it happen. Come back for part 2 💗

This is quite literally my second time ever making soup for myself… but it turned out so good and it ended up being such a cozy winner soup.

Here’s the full recipe

🍜Roast 2–3 heads broccoli (20 mins).
🍜Sauté 1 onion + 2 shredded carrots + 3 garlic cloves in butter/oil.
🍜Blend a little if you hate chunky soup.
🍜Add 3 tbsp flour → then 1.5c milk + 1c cream.
🍜Slowly add 1 carton chicken broth.
Halfway through, I whisked a little flour into some hot liquid to thicken it.
🍜Add roasted broccoli + season to taste (garlic powder, bouillon, paprika, salt/pepper).
🍜Melt in 8oz sharp cheddar (shredded)

Who says you can’t have a Thanksgiving dinner for one? Last year I spent Thanksgiving alone because I couldn’t afford to come back home for the holiday. And though it wasn’t my first thanksgiving away from home it was my first holiday completely alone no friends or family. It was sill such a great day. I spend the day cooking and baking which I genuinely enjoy then watched a Christmas movie while I enjoyed all of my hard work. Plus I had leftovers for days 🙌🏽

yall said you wanted more art school/art homework vlogs. This was the first assignments we got for the semester. And we had to do a still life “self portrait” in charcoal. Pretty content with the way it all turned out. Especially for only having don’t it in 3 hours 😭

After over five years of my artwork being stored away, in my sketchbook, in bags, and in boxes it was finally time that I give my art a home that is the walls of my first art studio 🥹 I think for a long time I let imposter syndrome. Tell me that my art isn’t good enough to go on walls or that it should only go on a wall if it’s framed, but seeing my artwork on these walls, the different mediums, the different subjects, the exploration of line and color in texture, the memories that some of these pieces hold for me… I’m so happy that I did this. Not only stylistically did an elevate the space and just make it feel cozier and more visually interesting but it also just affirm that I am in fact the artist that I always dreamed of becoming…. I AM HER, and if I’m not willing to put my own art up, then really who is? Let me know if you guys want a studio tour 👀

This is a realistic morning routine on one of my slower college days as a girly going back to college OK 🤏🏽 a little mix of sleeping in fueling my body, not only with caffeine this time and trying to find ways to fit God into my day, which feels weird to say because it shouldn’t be something I have to fit in… but trying to find ways to be intentional with my time I guess. None of the fluff not that curated influencer stuff that I love watching by the way, but just cannot live iykyk.
