Going from deep red to blonde isn’t a one-appointment transformation… it’s a process—and this is what it actually looks like ✨

Brittany started with a rich, deep red layered over previously colored hair (so yes… a lot of pigment packed in). From there, we softened into a chestnut, then into a more neutral brown—which, again, meant more color buildup over time.

When she was finally ready to go lighter, we had to start smart.
We removed her extensions, used Malibu CPR (twice), and lifted carefully—this first session was less about going blonde and more about understanding what her hair would realistically allow.

As expected… warmth. Lots of it.

From there, we built gradually:
• Session 1: soft, sandy dimension
• Session 2: brighter pieces around the face
• Session 3: leaning into warm golds (because fighting underlying red = damage)

And the key to making this look seamless? Extensions.

We layered three tones—brown, caramel, and beige blonde—to mimic what natural lightening would look like over time, without compromising the integrity of her hair.

Because the truth is:
If you’ve had red, warmth is part of the journey until it grows out.

Extensions allow us to create the end result before your natural hair can safely get there.
