Trial vs. wedding day š¤
This bride came to her wedding with a fresh spray tan and honestlyā¦ I LOVE a tan! I donāt care who you are, you look healthier with a sun kiss š But because her skin tone was deeper and warmer than it was at the trial, we had to make a few adjustments so everything stayed balanced and natural.
We elevated the blush and eyeshadow slightly so her features still popped against the tan, softened and lightened the brows to feel less structured, added glow to her chest to even out the spray tan, and did a tiny bit of scalp coverage around the hairline + part so the skin on her scalp blended better with the rest of her body.
These are the little things most people donāt notice consciously, but they make SUCH a difference overall.
This is also why bridal trials are so important. The goal isnāt necessarily to nail every single detail perfectly the first time ā itās for me to learn your face, your preferences, your skin, and how your inspiration photos translate onto you. Then on the wedding day, we refine š¤

Still processing this week, but I needed to say this out loud š¤
Thank you .bynatalie_ + the way you showed up for me so quickly, so genuinely, and without hesitation meant more than I can explain. You stepped in, helped me problem-solve, talked me off the ledge, and reminded me who I am in moments I was really questioning it.
This industry can feel competitive at timesā¦ but this week was proof that it doesnāt have to be. There is so much room for kindness, support, and women (and men) who truly want to see each other win.
If you have people like this in your corner, your coworkers, vendor friends, mentors, hype girls ā tag them. Even the ones you havenāt met in person but somehow always show up for you here š¤
We need more of this energy, always.
