Hello, my name is Monique, and I’m the founder of Lotus Petals Rising.

Lotus Petals Rising is a charitable wellness effort created to help women access gentle, affordable self-care and restorative wellness services—especially those who are often overlooked, overworked, or carrying heavy emotional and physical stress.

I created Lotus Petals Rising because I believe rest is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. Too many women live in survival mode, with little access to spaces that allow them to slow down, breathe, and heal at their own pace.

Lotus Petals Rising will offer community wellness programs, sliding-scale self-care services, and restorative experiences designed to meet women where they are—emotionally, physically, and financially.

This work is also deeply personal. The lotus logo used for Lotus Petals Rising was created for me by my son, who passed away from cancer. The lotus represents resilience, beauty through difficulty, and the gentle unfolding of healing. Carrying this work forward is a way of honoring life, care, and continuation.

I am raising $7,500 to officially launch Lotus Petals Rising as a mission-driven LLC. These funds will support startup costs, program materials, and the sustainability of the work so that I can continue offering care without burning out or closing access to women who need it most.

Lotus Petals Rising is not a nonprofit at this time, and contributions are not tax-deductible. Every dollar raised will go directly toward creating accessible wellness experiences and sustaining the work behind them.
