The Innersense Hair Baths are a beautiful cleanser and are very concentrated. They need to be “woken up” before cleansing.
Once you have poured about a quarter size into your hands add a little bit of water and rub it between your palms until it turns white! This opens up the product and gives you a great cleanse.
Don’t forget to wash twice every time!

When you come to the salon once a year I do my absolute best to give you everything you want, but sometimes there are limits to what I can do.
If I can see you every 3-4 months we can work together to maintain the health of your hair and if length is your goal this is so important. Maintenance trims are very important when you’re trying to grow length!

What works in the winter doesn’t always work in the spring and summer. As humidity rises so does the need for some extra hold!
Are you a cream fan? You may need to add a gel to help with that frizz that comes with heat and humidity. Are you a gel only fan? Considering adding a foam for some extra support and bounce!

Yes I brush style at home (and yes sometimes I am overdue for color)! What I show you in the salon is also what I do when I style my own hair.
Separating in sections makes sure you get the product fully saturated all over and evenly distributed.
Do you have to do this too? Absolutely not. Will I teach you how to do this? Absolutely! Just remember however you choose to style to listen for that squish because if you don’t hear it you don’t have enough water in your hair!
You just had to be there. Life was simpler, music was better, and all you had to worry about was which friend’s house you were sleeping at on Friday night ❤️

💫Why do I cut curly hair dry?💫
Because that’s how we live in it! Cutting dry allows me to see the shape being built in real time. Every curl pattern is different, every client is different, and some heads can have several different curl patterns! Cutting dry allows me to tailor your cut to your specific cut needs.

Saying goodbye to 2025. This was a year of wins and challenges. To all my clients who sat in my chair and supported me throughout the year, thank you ❤️. Goals for 2026 are creating balance, continuing to bring my best self behind the chair, and leaning into education. The best is yet to come!

It’s been a little over 4 years since I went out on my own, and honestly, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I love seeing both new and familiar faces in our beautiful salon! 💛
For the past 10 years, I’ve specialized in cutting and coloring curly hair, but I still love my straight-haired clients too. To me, it’s all about embracing what you have — curly, wavy, or straight! 🌿
