It’s halfway through July, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that life has a way of showing you exactly what you need to leave behind in order to step into what’s next… if you’re willing to listen.

Everyone wants the epic photos.

Not everyone hires the team willing to do this for them.

For this Oregon Coast wedding elopement, that meant New Hampshire + Scotland Elopement Photographer and I hiking a cliff with our gear and kits, chasing the perfect light, and me doing touch ups along the way to ensure my bride’s makeup looked flawless in every photo, so Jess could spend less time retouching and more time capturing the magic.

As a destination bridal makeup artist, these are the moments I love most. Creating a bridal makeup look that is beautiful in person is one thing. Creating a look that lasts through an adventure like this, holds up through changing temperatures, wind, uneven terrain, and even the occasional stumble on the way down, while still photographing beautifully from every angle, is something else entirely.

The final photos are always worth it. 🤍
