As a hooded girly myself I know how hard doing your makekup is when nothing seems to work the way it did in that tutorial you watched. I’ve struggled my whole life with creasing, eyeliner transferring, lashes not fitting me right- the list goes on.

I’m Sara- owner and lead artist behind S.R. Pulling MUA
✨Here’s some fun facts in easily digestible format:

- I’ve been a makeup artist for over 12 years.
- I’ve never perused anything other than makeup it’s always been makeup for me.
- I have a cat who is my child and I love her very much
- I was professionally trained in Toronto to work in film sets etc but ended up finding bridal and editorial work as my tru loves
- I am a weird mixture of bubbly personality and dry humor.
- I will cry if you make me climb stairs but will do it for my brides everytime
- I LOVE a clean girl glam everyday of the week
- I’m originally from the south but no longer have an accent (unless you make me mad)
- I love to read and actively have a reading goal of 50 books and the jury’s out of I’ll actually make that

Makeup is my one true love- I’m serious were in Avery committed relationship with each other :)

My stunning bride sat in my chair and told me to to EXACTLY what I did at the trial- and when I tell you I could not be more in love with her look!!

Ang was a bit tanner than she was at the trial so her look is more bronze but she loves looking tan so this was a pro in her book.
We kept the eyes simple but still the focal point of the look with the skin being medium coverage with all the bronzer and blush.

This look is for all my shimmery, glittery loving brides who still want a wearable all shimmer eye.

We achieved this by layering pigments overtop of a tacky eye shadow base and mixed some of the shimmer in with a setting spray and tapping in top ✨

If you’re a natural girly but love a little shimmer and a good lash- this look is for you!

For Makenzie we were very intentional about the colors for the eyes- nothing too dark. Lights and mid-tones only- We wanted the drama to come from the lashes!

If you’re a “light and bright” eye makeup person save this for inspo!

Will my makeup still look good with my glasses?

Yes.

Will fake lashes brush my glasses?

No- we used small individual lashes for Alyssa and they do exactly what they need to without being a hindrance.

For Alyssa’s look we really wanted to structure everything so that it would look great with her glasses. The eyes are structured but still clean and natural. The skin is glowy and fresh with some light sculpting and a sun kissed glow to the cheeks.

If you’re thinking of wearing your glasses on your big day let this be your sign to not discourage that!
