Loving this long bob!

On this gorgeous client we cut a couple inches off and added lots of interior layering to create movement but keep the cut pretty blunt. We also refreshed her toner to soften the highlights she had a few months before!

My first time blonding this babe! She felt too warm and dark after her previous appointments, so we needed to brighten everything up significantly.

During this appointment we lightened her roots, but also pulled through the previously lightened hair halfway through her processing to make sure everything was blonde enough for her.

It's always a fun project to end my night on this amazing head of hair and wonderful client! We do a TON of foils and a gloss to create this beautiful blonde. And for her haircut, we do strategic layers and thinning on her super thick hair to create space and movement!

This was the beginning of our journey back to blonde on this beautiful client!
We had been doing a dark base to cover greys and then some fun red violet pops of highlights. She was ready for a change, and we started by adding highlights and then doing a soft root shadow to still blend those greys, but make it easier for us to continue lightening!

This was actually her color last spring, and over the winter we went darker and are now back to a similar color this year 🤣 clearly we are cyclical 💞

This change added more richness, and life to her hair that needed some love!

We do lots of little baby highlights throughout this client to create extra dimension that pairs perfectly with her natural greys!

For this look we typically do highlights 2x a year! Once in the spring and once in the fall! It's the perfect low maintenance look!

We go through and do a soft highlight placement, then go through and do a darker base to melt and cover her greys, while toning the ends! Because of the softness of these highlights, she is able to just keep up her roots/grey blending throughout the year and still has the perfect pop for low maintenance, sun kissed brown hair!

We do a soft highlight and then go through and do a darker base to cover her greys and toner to soften the highlights. With the soft placement of these highlights, she can go a year just touching up her roots/covering her grey hairs before she needs to redo the highlights!
