Congratulations to my son on his high school graduation!

Soon, he will be heading to Georgia for 8 weeks of training with the National Guard before beginning his next chapter at the University of Washington in Seattle this September.

As a single mom and business owner, there were many times I wished I could have given him more of my time and attention. Balancing work, family, and life’s challenges has not always been easy. Yet despite it all, he has grown into a strong, determined, responsible, and compassionate young man.

Watching him achieve his goals and pursue his dreams fills my heart with gratitude and pride. His dedication, perseverance, and commitment to serving our country inspire me every day.

I am beyond proud of the person he has become and excited to see where this next journey takes him. The future is bright, and I know he will continue to accomplish great things.
