Ode To Scandia Market

There once was a cute little store
With treasures from ceiling to floor
I picked up some soap, a tractor, a dish
A Botno sweatshirt, a game, a little fish
A loon, a turtle, some scented wax
A flower, a bracelet, and some snacks
Eventually I had to find the exit door
And I left there rather poor

I haven’t written any poetry in a long time. There was a time in my life when I even had some of my poetry published! So, consider yourselves lucky—you got a little treat today as I wish you all a very Happy National Random Acts of Poetry Day! Come visit, but don’t leave poor!
